Off-Track Door Reset in Mesa
A Mesa garage door that had come off its track and hung in the opening, reset and adjusted to run again until the homeowner is ready for a replacement.
Completed October 2026 · Mesa
What we found
This Mesa homeowner called us about a garage door that had come off its track and hung in the opening. When we arrived and did our safety inspection, we found the door had been damaged a long time ago, and that old damage had it binding on itself as it went up or down. A door that binds on every trip is under strain each time it moves, and this one finally came off its track. The before photo shows it hanging crooked, stuck partway open.
What we did
We reset the hung door onto its track and made some minor adjustments to the track and the springs so it would travel cleanly. We didn't try to undo the old damage, because the door is past the point where a repair makes it like new. The homeowner is going to need a replacement in the near future, and they'll call when they're ready for it.
How it turned out
The door is operational in the meantime. It opens and closes again, which is what the homeowner needed today, and they can plan the replacement on their own schedule instead of living with a door hung in the opening. If your door has come off its track, call (480) 520-9000 and we'll get it moving again.
