Raised-Panel Door Replacement — Mesa
A Mesa double door with two sections wrecked by a backed-into bumper, replaced with a sturdier insulated raised-panel door that ties into the stucco trim.
Completed August 2026 · Mesa
What we found
This one started with a phone call nobody wants to make: the homeowner had backed into their own garage door. We were out within a few hours to take a look. A double door like this one is built from four horizontal sections, and two of the four were badly damaged. When a single panel takes a knock, a panel replacement can be the right fix — but with half the door damaged, the door had lost too much of its strength for a patch to hold up, and a full replacement was the honest recommendation.
What we did
We went over the choices with the homeowner, and rather than matching the old door like-for-like they chose an upgrade: a more durable insulated raised-panel double door in a warm tan that ties into the home's stucco trim. Insulation stiffens a door as well as slowing heat through it, so the new door is built to take more than the old one did. We ordered the door and had it installed the following week.
How it turned out
The house got its classic raised-panel look back, only crisper and sturdier than before — and the homeowner got a door that will shrug off a lot more than the old one. If your door has taken a hit, give us a call at (480) 520-9000. We'll tell you straight whether it's a panel job or a replacement.
